The transportation driver is responsible for helping to ensure that all goods and passengers reach their destinations safely.
The role of a transportation driver involves the following duties:
- Making sure vehicles are properly maintained
- Inspecting vehicles for cleanliness
- Arranging routine maintenance and repairs
- Reducing the risk of vehicle overload
- Maintaining and completing accurate records
- Safely getting clients to and from their intended destination
- Using navigation app to determine best and safest route
- Create and maintain healthy relationships with clients
- Assisting client with any equipment they may need to go with them
- Complying with state laws as far as training, licenses, etc
Applicant must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record and willing to do in-office training.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Nights as needed
- On call
- Weekends as needed
Travel requirement:
- Travel
